Ph.D. adviser

I’m not sure what to do?
In 4 months ago I did my best and I wrote my expose'. Every time the professor said some new points about it. At least the expose’ was very good and he had nothing to say but he said you must visit one course for doctorate program and after 6 month we see us in February and than talk about your thesis!!!
I’m very confused. He changed my theme, my method and all other things and now said after one semester!
At the beginning of the study someone has told me finding a PhD adviser in Germany is a catastrophe. I said don’t be so pessimistic! Now I find out that he was right!!!
